Got Your Back: OEHS Professionals Launch Worker Health & Safety Month
September is AIHA Worker Health & Safety Month. Join us as we bring attention to workplace health hazards and highlight the importance of working together to create healthier workplaces and communities.
Each week in September, AIHA will focus on a specific worker health and safety theme ranging from indoor air quality (IAQ) to mold and teen worker safety. AIHA members will be participating in initiatives aimed at:
- Bringing awareness about the value of Healthier Workplaces to employers and employees
- Educating the public about the importance of IAQ
- Recruiting the next generation of OEHS science professionals
There are many ways you can be part of this campaign, as a consumer, employee, or employer. AIHA has free resources that can guide you toward a healthier and safer workplace and community. Feel free to share these resources with your employees, colleagues, and friends.
